Mikros, a Jabil company, is expanding and looking for an experienced Shipping Receiving Clerk to join their team in Claremont, NH! In this role, you will work as a team player in a warehouse environment supporting the warehouse and business with inventory, deliveries, shipping, logistics, and receiving. What will you do?
Reads Customer Orders, Work Orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.Assists shipping and receiving including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.Sorts or places materials on items or racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.Marks materials with identifying information using the appropriate method; Opens bales, crates, and other containersDomestic and international shipping logistics and tracking including troubleshooting issues and stakeholder communicationsCompleting exporting documentsDispatching, coordinating, and performing local deliveriesInventory dutiesWeighs or counts items for distribution with the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.Prepares parcels for mailing.Keeps warehouse and work area clean by sweeping, dusting, and mopping.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.How will you get here?
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalentExperience:
2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receivingInventory experience requiredAbility to use warehouse equipment such as Forklifts, pallet jacks, two-wheelers, hand and powerMust be detail-oriented and organized as well as be able to work well in a team environmentProficient in the use of computers and Microsoft OfficeExperience with using ERP systems such as SAP or similar desiredKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows-based operating system and related software.Ability to write simple correspondence.
