We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to fill a key position on our Operations team as a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor at our Glenwillow, OH facility. As a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, you will oversee the flow of inbound and outbound inventory transfers, pickups and deliveries with clients and carriers as well as the daily routes for company drivers. You will be supervising a team of individuals to ensure inventory transfers are processed and received into the WineDirect system in a timely and accurate manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining the budget for your department. What you'll be doing: + Implement policies and procedures for the Shipping and Receiving Department + Order and manage all packaging in the facility + Ensure inbound and outbound transfer requests are completed on time per the client service level agreement (SLA) + Schedule local and inter-center transportation with drivers and carrier vendors weekly + Oversee the staging, loading and unloading of products + Reconcile inbound and outbound inventory transfers for accuracy + Creating and approving purchase orders, invoices and bills of lading + Ensure team is always responding with a customer service mindset with clients and internally across all departments + Manage and maintain relationships with transportation carriers and clients + Other duties as assigned Who you are: Candidates must possess highly developed sense of empathy, with a focus on ensuring the best experience for our partners, clients, and the end-consumer. + High school diploma + Minimum 5 years of experience working in a warehouse and/or logistics setting, wine industry experience helpful + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Proven management abilities with minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role. + Attention to detail, excellent follow through, ability to multitask + Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system, transportation schedule and routing software, Warehouse Management Software (WMS) experience and Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, or other similar reporting tools a plus. + Inventory management experience + Forklift certified + Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus + Self-motivated, enthusiastic, pleasant and positive customer centric attitude + Ability to identify, research and escalate issues, multitask and problem solve + Ability to lift heavy objects, 40+ pounds Why WineDirect? + You will have the ability to transform the wine industry by facilitating wineries ability to sell their products globally + You'll get to work with and support a stellar group of people who work together to care for our clients and their customers + You'll be empowered to make decisions, both to get the job done and to further your career + We have a competitive compensation package including medical, dental and vision coverage as well as Life, Long Term Disability, AD&D, and 401(k) with employer match.
