Shipping Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Directly responsible for leading the Distribution personnel in day-to-day job duties. Following the
direction of Distribution Manager ensuring product loads are following Butterball policies and
procedures.

Essential Function & Responsibilities:

\n\nCoordinating with Distribution Manager, Inventory Control, and various other areas to ensure product flow and safety.\nBOSS responsibilities, champion the BOSS program, adhere to BOSS processes.\nGeneral up-keep and housekeeping of the Distribution areas during the work shift.\nRequired to have a good working knowledge of Safety policies and procedures.\nResponsible for making sure product is loaded and shipped in designated time frame correctly.\nWorking with Department Managers and Supervisors to ensure plant needs are met.\n\n


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

\n\nRelevant work experience in Shipping, Storage, or Warehouse supervision.\nStrong communication skills.\nKnowledge in Shipping/Storage/warehousing HACCP and or USDA Policies.\nMust have a high energy level and ability to work varying shift hours.\nExcellent administrative and computer skills.\nExcellent time management, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Education & Experience:

\n\nMinimum of two years post, high school education\nKnowledge of workplace safety rules\nSAP experience, minimum 1 year (preferred)\nWMS system knowledge, minimum 1 year experience (preferred)\nGeneral computer skills (i.e., Microsoft)\n\n
