Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY:

This role supervises, assures execution, reviews, plans day-to-day interplant, and finishes good shipments in a timely manner complying with the Mexican rules and regulations for all Mexico plants.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and executes day-to-day activities in shipping area.
Plans and executes Interplant and customer shipments.
Comply with CTPAT OEA procedures.
Assures shipping metrics are met.
Always maintain 5s in shipping area.
Assures and follows processes for all indirect employees to assure HR compliance.
Executes loading in a timely and efficient manner.
Investigations and resolutions of shipping incidents including but not limited to boxing errors, overages, shortages, and loading errors.

SCOPE & IMPACT:
This role provides key planning and communication with indirect employees to execute all shipping operations, from loading, to optimize floor space, and maintaining pool of trucks, and keeping within the parameter that the company’s certifications requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or related field with 0 – 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Supervisory experience.
Handling indirect employee experience.
English basic proficiency.
Up to 5% Travel Required.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Logistics experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Up to five (5) direct reports.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office environment and shipping floor environment, walking, using scanner, and bending down will be needed at times.
