Shipping Team Member

Weyerhaeuser Company has an immediate opening for a full-time entry level Shipping Team Members for our Sutton, WV Oriented Strand Board Mill.

The position will be responsible and accountable for product stored in the warehouse area, includes consistent monitoring of the finished product. Other activities may include daily forklift operation, loading of trucks as well as goods movement, and other duties as needed.This position is expected to ensure finished product is safely loaded on trucks and railcars.

Key Functions:

Demonstrate total commitment to working safely and following all safety rules and regulationsResponsible for daily operation of manufacturing equipment that produces oriented strand boardSafely perform regular preventive maintenance and clean up on equipmentWork effectively in a team environmentProblem solve and troubleshoot equipment and issues on a regular basisInvolved in ongoing process improvement in the work areaSafely perform quality checks and ensures production of a quality productOperates a forklifts and other mobile equipment to manage product flowComplete shift paperwork and recordkeepingAttend team meetings and regular training sessions
