ITW Deltar Fasteners is a large division within the Automotive Segment and serves all the major OEMs and their tier suppliers with plastic fasteners. Locations include:  Frankfort, IL;  Chippewa Falls, WI and our Commercial Sales and Engineering in Troy, MI.

Position Summary:

The Shipping Technician reports to the Shipping Manager and will be responsible to perform duties to receive purchased and incoming products and/or ship finished products to customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, load and unload trucks as requiredWork and maintain shipping and/or receiving orders and instructionsOperate Order PickersPull production product & prepare shipments per customer instructions, address labeling, scan & shrink wrapData Entry: CMI, Excel and WordPreparing Bills of LadingAssist with year-end physical inventory and tagging

High School Diploma or equivalent preferredAt least one year experience operating a fork truck, hand and/or power lift equipmentComputer experience in Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to keep accurate recordsProven communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to lift up to 55 lbs.

Compensation Information:

$19-20 per hour
