Provide system architecture analysis, counsel, and design to business and IT stakeholders to develop solutions for existing application systems. Solution verification and validation per architecture perspective for projects and change requests of applications. Manage and maintain the architecture of China local application portfolio. Play a designer and consultant role in projects and the application modernization roadmap
1. Understand the portfolio of SHS CN applications, technologies, services, standards, and new development efforts underway to improve them. Leverage the knowledge when evaluating business requirements to recommend extensible and scalable solution architectures that align with needs and the company strategy. 2. Work closely with business partners, application managers, and service providers to focus on enabling high-level design of solution architecture for new project and change request in terms of technical stack selection, data flow and system integration etc. Drive to deliver scalable application solutions for less application complexcity, lower maintenance cost and better investment return. 3. Analyze business context (market trends and business strategy) and company-level application strategy to support application modernization by leveraging all aspects (e.g., business, information, and technology infrastructure) of enterprise architecture. 4. Drive architecture-related topics that enable idea sharing across teams and leverage existing technologies and solutions to maximize the business value and adopt cutting-edge technologies. 5. Establish application architecture standards and governance framework that multiple groups can follow to contribute. 6. Lead comprehensive technical assessments for local 3rd-party digital tools and products and provide selection recommendations to business and IT stakeholders. 7. Provide strategic direction, roadmap, and standards within the area of responsibility 8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification • At least 10 years of working experience in the fields of IT solution architecture in MNC; • Significant practical experience or good understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF. • Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements. • Understanding of application development methodologies, SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or client/server systems • Be familiar with application modernization types, cloud-native development technologies and major application platforms, having experience to replat form or refactor legacy applications is a big advantage.• Have in-depth understanding and expertise in multiple technologies, including but not limited to a programming language (such as Java, .net, Python, c#, c++, etc.), database management system (DBMS), development tools, integrated development environment (IDE) as well as front end technology, etc. • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills; Strong presentation and communication skills and solid ability to present complex issues to multi-level audiences of Stakeholders. • Ability to demonstrate commitment to develop, drive, and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, having a medium-high English Language Domain/Fluency (Speaking, Reading & Writing)
