The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated Journeyman Shock Qualification Specialist to support the mission objectives and needs of the U.S. Navy in the Washington, DC area. The position is contingent upon award of contract.
Responsibilities:
Provide Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E) engineering and program management support.
Manage M&S VV&A processes, maintain program and test schedules, and manage and track action items
Develop and update the Shock Qualification Plan (SQP).
Develop and maintain the Consolidated Equipment List (CEL) in Excel.
Identify all equipment subject to shock qualification, assign shock grade, and assign initial shock qualification method.
Research and maintain relevant equipment data to ensure progress towards shock qualification, evaluate shock deficiencies and risk acceptance items.
Develop and maintain the Shock discrepancy database, which addresses equipment qualification, outstanding trial cards, and shock discrepancy reports which may result from inspections.
Develop statements of work for execution of the Shock Qualification Plan.
Coordinate the Shock Qualification effort among Navy acquisition and engineering activities as needed for efficient oversight of performing activities.
Develop presentation material for stakeholder briefings.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must hold, or be able to obtain, a Secret clearance.
BS in engineering or related field
10+ years in shock qualification
Experience in Navy DoD, Weapon Systems, DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process, Middle Tier Acquisition process)
Desired:
Experience developing and supporting the Shock Qualification Plan (SQP) and Consolidated Equipment List (CEL) for a DoN program.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

The proposed salary range for this position is:
