Position Summary:

This position is responsible for processing all guest and patron reservations at the Pro Shop.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Creates and processes Tee Times for all patronsCoordinates Tee Times with the StarterAssists customers and professional staff in golf shop merchandise sales

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Handles incoming phone callsAssists patrons in the Golf Pro ShopAssists with tournament play, as needed

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentOne year of experience at a golf courseA working knowledge of the game of golfA valid Driver’s License

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Good written and verbal communication skillsGood organizational and multi-tasking skillsExcellent customer service and telephone skills

Training Requirements:

Working knowledge of the JOANAS Golf Management SystemWorking knowledge of the rules and regulations of the game of golf

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditionsMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
