Shop Crane Technician

Summary: Seeking a skilled Shop Crane Technician for inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of crane equipment with a strong mechanical background.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician

Experience with mobile crane equipment (Grove RT, TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC/Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks; Manitex Boom Trucks and Cranes)

Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record preferred

Basic computer skills preferred

Ability to work overtime and weekends as required

Preferred Skills:

Manufacture approved training/certifications

Responsibilities:

Operate and inspect cranes to diagnose defects

Examine parts using micrometers and gauges

Interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and drawings

Test products/equipment post-repair to ensure compliance with OEM specifications

Prepare jobs by verifying parts/drawings accuracy

Perform independent tasks without supervision

Conduct thorough annual inspections

Maintain safety standards and regulations compliance

Pay: 48000-54000
