**Job Title: Production Supervisor**
**Location: Jacksonville, FL**
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to oversee our shop operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring safety and efficiency, and leading a team of skilled workers. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of shop processes and equipment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel.
+ Schedule and assign tasks to employees, monitoring progress and providing guidance as needed.
+ Oversee the scheduling and builds of emergency vehicles.
+ Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
+ Maintain inventory of materials and supplies, ordering as necessary.
+ Conduct regular inspections of completed vehicles.
+ Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
+ Train and mentor new employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
+ Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
+ Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
**Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience as a Shop Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
+ Strong knowledge of shop operations, equipment, and safety standards.
+ Electrical and mechanical experience, particularly with 12-volt systems.
+ Proficiency in using Excel or other computer software.
+ Ability to motivate fellow employees for project completion.
+ Comfortable working both on the shop floor and in the office.
+ Hands-on approach with strong management skills.
+ Excellent leadership and communication skills.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
+ Proficient in using shop tools and machinery.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00
