**Job Title: Shop Foreman** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for floating between different departments to pull and load finished products onto delivery trucks. This role involves a mix of team collaboration and independent work, requiring the candidate to learn the layout of the facility and organize the inventory of finished glass products. The Shop Foreman will also wrap products with blankets, cardboard, and straps to prevent movement during delivery, and match finished products with work orders. **Responsibilities** + Pull and load finished products onto delivery trucks. + Load 4 to 7 trucks per day. + Work in a 50/50 team and independent setting. + Learn the facility layout to organize inventory of finished glass products. + Wrap products with blankets, cardboard, and straps to prevent movement during delivery. + Pull and lift finished products to match work orders. + Stand for extended periods of time. + Operate a sit-down forklift. **Essential Skills** + Experience in warehouse, material handling, and general labor. + Forklift operation skills. + Ability to lift 75 to 100 pounds. + 2 years of loading and unloading experience in a manufacturing environment or warehouse. + Ability to read work orders to prepare truck loads. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Tape measure experience preferred but not required. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and supplemental life insurance, and various critical illness and short-term disability plans. The facility is generally clean but may have some glass fragments on the ground. The team is laid-back, and the candidate will have their own station to assemble products independently. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and long sleeves or a t-shirt. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DES MOINES, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
