**Job Title: Shop Foreman** **Job Description** We are seeking a Shop Foreman to join our team in Freeport, ME. Our company is primarily a construction management general contractor that self performs small scopes of work. We are looking for an individual who possesses strong organizational skills and basic mechanic knowledge. The Shop Foreman will be performing very light preventive maintenance work on scissor lifts and excavators, managing the delivery of equipment and tools to various sites, and occasionally performing light carpentry work, such as building temporary handrails on site. **Responsibilities** + Perform light preventive maintenance on scissor lifts and excavators. + Manage the delivery of equipment and tools to different sites as needed. + Maintain an organized work environment to ensure quick access to tools and equipment. + Perform light carpentry work, such as building temporary handrails on site. **Essential Skills** + Experience in heavy equipment operation. + Knowledge of carpentry and rough carpentry. + Mechanical experience and knowledge of construction tools. + Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs. + Attention to detail. + Strong organizational skills. + Supervision skills. + Knowledge of hydraulics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in both mechanic and carpentry roles is ideal but not mandatory. + Open to candidates who are a good culture fit. **Why Work Here?** Family-owned and operated since 1969, we have grown from a small team to one of the most reputable construction companies in Maine.
