Description: If you're looking for a job ASAP and have experience in equipment operation, mechanical work, construction, farming, general labor, or hand tools, then this is the position for you! A leading company is looking for Yard Attendants/Shop Technicians to join the team and assist with the daily cleaning and maintenance of the branch service department, maintaining an orderly yard, cleaning all units brought into the facility, receiving and shipping equipment, and assisting all departments with repair parts or materials. The company is looking for individuals eager to learn and grow within a large company, so we will provide a rapid interview process to get you working as soon as possible!

Responsibilities:

Ensure the shop is maintained and cleaned daily.Clean all units before and after repairs are completed by technicians.Clean and maintain the yard and attachments.Fuel and inspect all company-owned equipment.Operate a forklift.Use internal systems to record and take pictures of damages prior to services.Assist the parts and sales departments in acquiring and delivering parts needed by the service department.

Essential Skills:

- Able to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.

- Knowledge of machines and tools used for repair, maintenance, and cleaning of facilities.

- Able to operate a forklift.

- Able to communicate verbally and in written form effectively as appropriate for the needs of the customer or coworkers.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Able to process work with accuracy.

- Able to complete required documentation and reports in a timely manner.

- Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.

- Basic knowledge of office machines, including copier, fax and printer.

- Able to work effectively in a team environment.

- Meet commitments and deadlines.

- Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Able to work a flexible schedule as needed.

- Demonstrates openness to new procedures, technology and structure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in equipment operation, mechanical work, construction, farming, general labor, and hand tools.Experience with washing, cleaning, and oil changes.

Shift:

Monday-Friday: 8am to 4:30pm, with flexibility to work some Saturdays

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
