**Aerospace Shop Hand**
**Pay** : $20/hr-22/hr
**Schedule** : 6am-3:30pm Mon-Thur every other Friday 6:00am-11:00am OR
3:00pm-12:30am Mon-Thurs every other Friday 3:00pm-7:00pm
**Job Description**
This shop hand will set up and operate non-complex honing and other machines to perform various functions. The individual will perform assigned duties under the guidance of a mentor or supervisor. The role involves meeting defined standards for productivity, quality, and cost.
**Responsibilities**
+ Calculate and set manual machine controls to position spindle in relation to work piece.
+ Select and set cutting tools, as well as cutting depths, speeds, and feeds required to produce parts per drawing requirements.
+ Be proficient in the use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges.
+ Understand the deburring process in its entirety.
+ Run jobs in the order set by the scheduler or lead.
**Skills and Qualifications**
+ Experience using and reading precise measuring tools such as calipers and ultrasonic thickness gauges.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints to deburr/polish parts with abrasives and hand tools.
+ Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
+ Strong focus and attention to detail.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
