**Description** **Fabrication Shop Helper** **Job Summary** The Shop Helper is primarily responsible for helping Equipment Operators on various types of machines within the Fabrication Shop. **Essential Functions** · Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.” · Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” · Experience and knowledge of operating saws and other Fabrication Shop machinery. · Follows prescribed safety standards and regulations. · Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision. **Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience** · Prior related experience and/or training in a fabrication or machine shop environment. · Ability to operate tools and equipment applicable to position. · Working knowledge of basic hand tools. · Ability to interact and communicate well with others in a fast-paced environment. · Obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program. · Work involves standing and walking for extended periods of time. Work may include frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping and occasional climbing on to equipment and/or trailers. · Work may include occasional pushing, pulling, or carrying objects weighing a minimum of 35 pounds to a maximum of 50 pounds, with assistance, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment, or tools. · Occasional overtime may be required to ensure project deadlines are met.
