**Job Title: Shop Helper** **Job Description** We are seeking a Shop Helper to assist with various types of general labor and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, experience with hand tools, and be comfortable lifting upwards of 50+ lbs. This person will be responsible for helping to maintain all of the inventory in the yard and preparing equipment for sale and rental. Candidates will be cleaning and doing light service to equipment. Will need to work indoors and outdoors. **Hard Skills** + Mechanical aptitude + Painting / powder coating + Experience with hand tools + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + General maintenance and light equipment operation **Soft Skills** + Collaborative + Efficient + Hard-working **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in MANASSAS, Virginia. **Work Environment** The work environment is within a tower crane company, characterized by a hard-working and collaborative team. The team is measured on production (time to complete a job/task) and requires moving quickly and efficiently to meet performance expectations. The environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The company emphasizes their benefits package and the potential for upward mobility within the company. Shift: M-F, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM - OT Shift is M-F, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
