**Job Title: Shop Helper** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Shop Helper to join our team. This is a 1st shift position, working from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays and weekends. As a Machine Shop Helper, you will be responsible for grinding, parts running, and assisting with welding tasks. **Responsibilities** + Assist with grinding and parts running in the machine shop + Perform welding tasks including MIG and Fluxcore on thicker gauge steel + Support fabricators with various tasks including tank and pipe welding + Assist in building machines and operating manual machinery such as brake presses and roll presses + Utilize hand tools and follow blueprints to complete assigned tasks + Maintain a clean and organized work environment **Essential Skills** + Experience in a machine shop environment + Proficiency in MIG and Fluxcore welding + Ability to work with thicker gauge steel + Familiarity with grinding and fabrication processes + Skill in using hand tools and reading blueprints **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with tank and pipe welding + Knowledge of stainless steel welding + Capability to assist in machine building and operating older manual machinery **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values growth and longevity.
