**Job Title: Shop Helper in Sacramento** If interested please text the words OIL & GAS along with your name to 510 209 2515 **Job Description** + We are seeking a dedicated Shop Helper to join our team. + This role involves assisting with daily operations, including preparing units for rentals or sales, managing fittings onto hoses or pumps, and supporting mechanics with cables. + The ideal candidate will be the primary contact for managing the team, overseeing processes, writing paperwork, and ensuring drivers are loaded and sent out efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Open the shop and prepare for the day’s activities. + Assist with the preparation of units for rentals or sales. + Manage fittings onto hoses or pumps. + Ensure drivers are loaded and ready to go. + Help mechanics with cables and other tasks as needed. + Act as the primary contact for managing the team and processes. + Write up paperwork and manage documentation. + Oversee the loading and dispatching of drivers. **Essential Skills** + Experience in general labor, construction, industrial, or oil and gas sectors. + Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently. + Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). + Ability to pass a drug test. + Forklift operation experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a refinery. + Experience in an industrial environment with pumps and related equipment. **Work Environment** + This position is based in the back shop and involves working in varying temperatures, both cold and hot. + The shop operates daily, but loading does not occur in the rain. + The role requires a willingness to come to work every day and contribute to a team-oriented environment. **Job Type & Location** + This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
