**Job Title: Shop Helper** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Helper to join our team. This position is for the 1st shift, working from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime on Fridays and weekends. As a Machine Shop Helper, you will be responsible for grinding, parts running, welding (MIG, Fluxcore), and working with thicker gauge steel. **Responsibilities** + Assist with grinding and fabricating parts. + Run parts and assist with machine shop tasks. + Perform MIG and Fluxcore welding on thicker gauge steel. + Work with various materials including stainless steel and tanks/pipes. + Utilize hand tools and follow blueprints for machine building and fabrication tasks. **Essential Skills** + Experience in grinding, production, and fabrication. + Proficiency in MIG and Fluxcore welding. + Knowledge of working with thicker gauge steel and stainless steel. + Experience in machine building and working in a machine shop environment. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in using older manual machinery (brake presses, roll presses). + General labor skills and familiarity with hand tools. **Why Work Here?** We offer room for growth and a standard benefits package.
