**Shop Helper / $21.00/HR / Full-Time** **Job Description:** + As a Shop Helper, you will be responsible for daily lifting of 5-gallon buckets of paint, pouring them into mixing machinery, and blending paints per customer orders. + You will also be refilling paint containers, labeling them for shipment, receiving production from incoming trailers, pulling orders for will call, and assisting with loading and unloading of products as needed. General cleanup of the work area is also required. **Responsibilities:** + Lift 5-gallon buckets of paint and pour into mixing machinery + Mix and blend paints per customer orders + Refill paint containers and label for shipment + Receive product from incoming trailers using forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and hand trucks + Pull orders for will call and palletize for shipping using paper order sheets + Assist with loading and unloading of products as needed + Maintain general cleanliness of the work area **Essential Skills:** + Experience in production, general labor, and warehouse shipping + Ability to lift 60 lbs. to shoulder height regularly throughout the day + Comfortable working around strong paint fumes (masks and respirators provided as requested) + High School Diploma or GED **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Experience with forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and hand trucks + Ability to mix and blend paints accurately **Why Work Here?** + This is a great opportunity to work with a reputable company that offers excellent opportunities for advancement and mobility. **Work Environment:** + The work environment is physically demanding and can be dirty, with the smell of paint fumes present (all within OSHA guidelines).
