This position is responsible for managing day-to-day onsite operations for individual construction projects from Pre-Construction through the Close-Out Phase. This includes but is not limited to, procuring, scheduling and directing of work crews, equipment, subcontractors and materials. Individual must be able to construct projects in accordance with construction designs, plans and specifications. Must have the ability to read design drawings and ensure that the project is being constructed in accordance within project guidelines, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

Position may involve performing other duties as required, which may not be mentioned below.  Specific duties may change from time to time.

Assume lead role on assigned projects/tasks from management including equipment maintenance and repair and cleaning, review and coding of vendor invoices, vendor scheduling.Provide daily equipment updates to the site teamMonitor inventory and order shop supplies and parts for the equipmentReview preventative maintenance schedule and coordinate with maintenance team and site team to ensure equipment maintenance is completed on timeReview and approve vendor invoices for accuracyProvide daily reports on equipment to the ownersReview daily equipment inspection forms for repairsPerform routine inspections on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is neededBecome familiar with the jobsite (key locations, haul roads, etc.)Monitor all production equipment for operational performance. Work with management to improve performanceMaintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing Charah safety standards and procedures, complying with, and enforcing, OSHA, MSHA, and DOT codes and regulations Qualifications Minimum 5-years’ experience maintaining a shop environment in a construction or similar environment requiredExperience leading teams/projects requiredExperience operating in a production-focused environment preferredKnowledge of construction equipment, methods, and tools involved in maintaining and repairing equipmentHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredCurrent OSHA 30Valid driver’s license required and reliable transportation Work Environment & Conditions This position requires a flexible work schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtimeMust be able to climb, maintain body equilibrium, reach, grasp, bend and walk/stand/sit for extended periods of timeMust be able to hear and see naturally or with correctionMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsBe subject to loud noisesBe subject to atmospheric conditions - one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odor, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilationThis position requires working in the internal and external environmentAbility to work independently and as a teamAbility to work under pressure with time constraints in a changing environmentAbility to effectively communicate
