We have an immediate need for a Shop Mechanic located in our Woodstock, VA office. This is a hands-on position and qualified candidates will have experience with diesel and small engines as well as troubleshooting and maintenance of hydraulics.
Responsibilities Ability to work independently in performing repairs and maintenance, strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronicsTroubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently, analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problemsMaintains service recordsTravel regionally as needed Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with heavy equipment including hydraulics and electronic system troubleshootingExperience with drill rig maintenance and repairs a plusValid driver’s licenseStrong work ethic and ability to work in a construction environmentOrganize, clean, and maintain a safe work areaTeam playerAbility to perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion and potentially work in adverse weather conditionsHigh school diploma or GED
