Role:

We are looking for a Shop Mechanic Apprentice to work in our Delanco, NJ location.   This is an entry level, apprentice role, where candidates who are mechanically inclined and have some prior experience in a similar manufacturing role.  While in this role, the apprentice will learn the basics of the full shop mechanic position.

To succeed you will need:

Math Skills – Basic math knowledgeAbility to identify voltage levels of electrical equipment and determine the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) for that voltage while overseeing others.Able to draw a one-line diagram of the PBR electrical systemMobile equipment certified.  Able to safely and effectively operate a forklift, man basket and lull.Reading Skills – Basic reading comprehensionProblem solving mindsetTroubleshooting Skills – Basic working knowledge, skills and ability to read schematics, blueprints, logic diagrams, and properly use electrical test equipmentHand tools & Portable Power Tools – Proficient working knowledge, smills and abilities required to properly identify and safely and effectively use and maintain hand tools ,portable power tools on a routine basis while performing maintenanceAbility to lift 50 lbs
