Position Purpose:
Key Responsibilities:10% Administrative Work - Documents all work performed on tablet technology, including completion of work orders to capture parts usage and labor, performing parts inventory counts, etc; Checks GPS units on equipment and ensures they are activated and properly checking in, and troubleshoots with IT team as needed; Rescues equipment from job sites as needed20% Perform Inspections - Performs aerial lift inspections according to required checklist; Cleans equipment and trailers30% Perform PMs and PDIs - Performs preventive maintenance (PMs) on equipment according to prescribed schedule/maintenance intervals; Performs pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on equipment and trailers to ensure rental readiness prior to deploying to a store30% Perform Troubleshooting & Repairs - Performs troubleshooting and repairs on small engines, including fuel systems, oil and air filtration systems, ignition systems, etc; Changes wheels, tracks, and tires on machines and trailers; Performs maintenance and repairs on trailers10% Safety - Follows shop safety protocol, including proper storage of supplies and fuel, proper disposal of waste oils and fluids, and proper lifting and moving of materials and equipment; Safely operates forklift to load, unload, and move equipment and materials in the shop and yard
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:This position reports to Rental Regional ManagerThis position has 0 Direct Reports
Travel Requirements:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
Working Conditions:Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
Minimum Qualifications:Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Responsible for basic repairs, preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections (PDI), and deployment of machines in the rental fleet, including earth-moving, aerial, landscaping, and material handling equipment. Regular preventive maintenance of equipment is required to ensure that it remains in rental-ready condition, and is less likely to experience breakdowns on the job site.
