Turner Industries Group is looking for an experienced Auto\/ Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Pasadena, TX. The successful candidate will have experience working on gas\/ diesel engines as well as small engine pieces of equipment such as golf carts and tractors. This position offers:\n\n40 Hours+\nOvertime and call-outs as needed - overtime paid at time-and-a-half\nHealth, (BCBS) Dental, (Delta) Vision, and Life insurance available\n401k with employer match from day 1, no vesting required\nShort\/ Long-term disability available

Equipment Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities\n\nPerform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance\nTroubleshoot issues with diesel engines\nDetermine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs\nComplete shop paperwork\nMaintain a clean and safe work area\n\n

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications\n\nHigh school diploma or GED certificate\nPost-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic is a plus\n5+ years of experience with diesel\/heavy equipment repair\nTWIC Card\nValid driver's license and a clean driving record\n\n

Per diem and relocation is not available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Houston metro area.\n
