What You'll Do Champion and ensure adherence to CMC’s Guiding Principles, Code of Conduct, Culture, and policies and procedures Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture Meet or exceed safety, production, quality, and inventory management targets set by management Set clear objectives and hold employees accountable Ensure and facilitate the training of new employees Ensure that business is conducted with the highest standards of quality and integrity Act as liaison between Senior Management and subordinate levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, and policies Assign daily work assignments to maximize shift operations Keep management abreast of disruptions or changes to output Manage and report accurate inventory reporting Manage annual reviews, coach, and counsel shop employees with regard to employee relations issues and development opportunities Meet production quality, quantity, and safety standards on the shift What You'll Need Minimum 2 years experience as supervisor, preferred Minimum 2 years experience in rebar shop operations, preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate up, down, and across the business Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
