Performs routine maintenance 2. Assist Shop Lead with needs of the Shop 3. Follows Supervisor’s instructions to ensure work orders are completed timely. 4. Conducts routine checks on machinery to determine maintenance required for proper operation. 5. Transports supplies and equipment as needed. 6. Assists in maintaining tools and equipment. 7. Assists with students. 8. May unlock/open building mornings and lockdown/set security system for the building in evening. **Minimum Qualifications** One year of related experience; demonstrated knowledge of general maintenance and related tools or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb step ladders/scaffolding; and, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required. A Utah driver’s license may be required. This position is not responsible for providing patient care. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. **Preferences** Experience using basic shop equipment and machinery.
