Job Description
In this position, you will contribute to the specialized manufacturing of UHP Gas & Chemical Delivery systems for the Semiconductor, Solar, LED, and other disruptive high-tech markets.
ResponsibilitiesAttention to detail.Assemble parts/products.Grind, sand, and polish stainless parts to customer specifications.Work effectively as a team member, establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.Follow written and oral instructions regarding daily functions, safety rules and regulations, and possible hazardous conditions.Basic communication to obtain information, explain policy and procedures, and discuss needs.Clean production parts.Possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.Learn new processes.Work independently and efficiently with minimal direction.Perform other duties as assigned.Sit and work on a computer for long periods of time.Wear safety glasses and other required protection when in the production area.Essential SkillsProduction experienceCleanroom experienceGrinding and polishing skillsFamiliarity with shop toolsMetal finishing experienceSanding skillsAssembly skillsHand tool proficiencyAdditional Skills & Qualifications6 months of relevant working experience.Ability to read and write English.Operation of basic power tools (grinders, drills, etc.).Mathematic skills in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing simple numbers without a calculator.Ability to read a tape measure/caliper.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Forklift driving experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes periodic noise increases in the manufacturing facility, while the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when in the manufacturing facility. The work schedule is from Monday to Thursday, with 4x10 shifts, from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sherwood, Oregon.
