**Job Posting: Shop Technician** **Description:** Join our team as a Shop Technician and be a crucial part of the truck upfitting process. You'll work on a variety of trucks, including DOT plows, service trucks, toolboxes, dump trucks, and more. This role involves custom work tailored to client requirements, demanding strong problem-solving skills. All equipment comes pre-fabricated or assembled, and your task will be to install it onto the truck frame. **Responsibilities:** + Use hand and power tools to install attachments onto trucks. + Read and interpret blueprints to install wire harnesses and connect equipment to the control box in the cab. + Attach equipment correctly and safely based on prints. + Install lights onto trucks after plows or buckets are installed. + Fabricate metal parts as needed to fit the vehicle. + Install hydraulic hoses for specific equipment. + Use hand tools to attach final assemblies onto trucks. + Tape and prep trucks for paint touch-ups. + Apply liquid paint in the paint booth to buckets, frames, or hitches. **Work Schedule:** + Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm (overtime available from 6:30am). + Typical work hours: 40-50 hours per week, with 40 hours as the expectation. + Showroom hours: Saturdays from 8am to 12pm (voluntary repairs). **Skills:** + Blueprint reading + Power tool usage + Welding + Fabrication + Mechanical assembly + Fitting + Repair + Electrical **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Ability to work in awkward positions. + Able to lift up to 75lbs. + Ability to work on feet for long hours. + Preferred: Own tools/toolbox. **Experience Level:** + Intermediate Level If you have the skills and experience we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you!
