Shop Warehouse Clerk


    

 

We are currently searching for a Shop Warehouse Clerk to provide support and assistance for grounds, shipping, and receiving of the company's Equipment Division. Key areas of support include communication & collaboration, organizational skills, decision-making, and record-keeping. Primary responsibilities also include organization of the yard and shop, pulling primary parts orders, checking primary parts, maintaining primary parts return records, practicing proper safety, monitoring inventory, and assisting drivers so they can get off the yard quickly.

Responsibilities

Communication:

Receive primary parts deliveries. Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, email, and mail. Support team by performing assigned tasks with high quality in a timely manner. Perform other duties and/or special projects as needed. Provide assistance when non-routine tasks arise.

Decision Making:

Must be willing to make independent decisions. When uncertainty arises, seek guidance.

Record Keeping:

Maintain primary parts receiving and returning documents. Maintain inventory of on-campus facilities.

Organizational Skills:

Take clear notes, set deadlines, and be accountable for ongoing projects. Responsible for documenting processes to facilitate recurring duties. Ensure all check-out/check-in paperwork is completed and accurate.

Warehouse Organization:

Responsible for maintaining organizational systems in the yard and shop. Responsible for maintaining warehouse organization and inventory locations. Responsible for performing yard maintenance and organizational tasks. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and getting the driver off the yard quickly. Organizing all stored material and maintaining an inventory reference.

Qualifications:

1 - 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in parts management High school diploma or GED required Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure Ability to work in a fast-paced constantly changing environment

Other Requirements:

Must be able to convey information by telephone, email, and in-person; and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations, which may include customers, vendors, and/or other employees Able to work in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects/tasks Ability to safely resolve problems involving several variables with limited supervision

Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires work in both the warehouse and shop. It involves material handling, equipment operation, and hands-on assembly or repairs while ensuring safety and efficiency.
