**Job Title: Shop Worker : St. Paul, MN : $20 to $24 per hour** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Shop Worker to join our team in a grinding role. This position involves using rotary and belt sanding tools to deburr, rough, and finish grind on welds, as well as polishing stainless steel. The role also requires operating a sit-down forklift and working with a variety of hand and power tools on a daily basis. **Responsibilities** + Use rotary and belt sanding tools to deburr, rough, and finish grind on welds. + Polish stainless steel components. + Operate a sit-down forklift as needed. + Work with various hand and power tools daily. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Lift up to 50 lbs regularly. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand and power tools. + Ability to read a tape measure. + High attention to detail. + Mechanical aptitude. + 6+ months of grinding or deburring experience. + Ability to read blueprints. + Experience in metal finishing and fabrication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience. + Blueprint reading experience. **Why Work Here?** We offer excellent benefits and room to grow into lead or more advanced assembly positions. The work environment is strict about phone usage and prohibits tobacco use during work hours. Our facility is clean and organized, and we pride ourselves on quality and hard work. As a custom fabrication shop, there is a lot of variety in tasks, ranging from working on very small to very large parts.
