Service Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in conjunction with the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology. Each day, you will determine costs, prepare final documentation, and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause, and recommending future actions.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridYou will be mainly accountable for:• Supporting the local Sales & Proposal Team and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.• Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.• Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization.• Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates it to the Sales organization• Cooperate with the Global Network of ABB Marine & Ports.You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

You are highly skilled in complex bidding offering portfolio, with careful focus in electrical design for proposals. You have 5 years of experience in in a technical/commercial support role, for example as an inside sales employee. You are passionate about team working and problem solving. Degree in a technical field, such as electrical engineering You are at ease communicating in Italian and English. Availability to travel outside Italy (25%).
