Short- Term Speech-Language Pathologist

Speech-Language Pathologist: January 6th, 2025 - May 30th, 2025

AnthroMed Education is excited to announce an opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in the Berwyn area starting in January 2025 and for the remainder of the school year. Join our team of dedicated professionals and help make a difference in the lives of children!

We are seeking a committed Speech-Language Pathologist to work primarily at two schools, serving students from Pre-K to 5th grade. This position is set to begin on January 6, 2025, and run through May 30, 2025.

Position Highlights:

Work Schedule: This role involves working 32.5 hours per week, from 8:10 AM to 3:10 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Additionally, there are 17 Wednesdays throughout the year where the SLP will stay until 4:30 PM.Location: Berwyn, ILCaseload Details: The Speech-Language Pathologist currently on leave from January to March will maintain the caseload until the end of the school year. Further details on the caseload will be provided soon.

Speech-Language Pathologist Duties:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needsProvide direct and indirect speech and language services to studentsCollaborate with classroom teachers and the interdisciplinary team to support student communication goalsParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans

Speech-Language Pathologist Requirements:

Master’s degree in Communication DisordersIDFPR license eligible in the state of IllinoisProfessional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of IllinoisCCC-SLP preferred, but we would consider CF-SLP candidatesExperience working with K-5 students is preferred
