Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Shot blast poles using a shot blast hoseMaintain and operate shot blasting equipment properly and safelyPull and read product blue prints for blast knowledgeEnsure high quality products with visual quality checkComplete appropriate paperwork/log booksAssist in masking/taping and UV as neededAssist in Crane Operation as neededMay train as back up painterWork closely with the Long Side Finishing DepartmentWear required personal protective equipment including supplied air hood (Must pass an online medical evaluation and extended testing if needed)Follow facility safety regulationsMaintain a safe and productive working environmentAdditional Responsibilities:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredPrevious experience with sandblasting, shot blasting or auto painting requiredMust be mechanically and technically inclinedAble to read, write, and calculate simple mathematics.Able to pay attention to detail and understand/follow instructionsAble to train and apply training in the paint departmentAble to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive mannerAble to recognize and solve practical problems or issuesAble to work in a team environment with a diverse group of peopleAble to communicate problems and ideas effectively to co-workers, supervisors, and managers.Minimum six months experience using a forklift and/or overhead craneMinimum six months experience sandblasting or shot blastingMust be able to work with minimal supervisionKey Competencies:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs,Able stand, walk, sit, bend, squat, stoop, push, pull, reach, grasp, hold and carry for various periods of timeAble to wear required PPE at all times: Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, reflective vest, long sleeves, long pants, steel toed boots with built in met guards, fresh air feed hood, face shieldJob Summary:
Employee will complete a variety of tasks in the Corrocote department including shot blasting, general clean up, tape/masking, UVing, reading prints and completing paperwork. Must follow all processes, procedures and regulations and maintain the highest of standards including no damage to product and/or equipment. Must wear PPE at all times, arrive on time, work the required schedule each week and report any damage or issues to the department supervisor immediately. Must be aware of surroundings at all times, including coworkers.
