From infrastructure, plumbing, and appliances, to HVAC, fire protection, fabrication, and more, we make our customers’ complex projects simple, successful, and sustainable. **_Currently starting at $23 per hour based on experience_** **_Schedule/Hours - Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm_** Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Showroom Supervisor. **Position Details** + Reports to **Area Sales Manager** + Direct oversight of **2 to 3 associates** **Responsibilities** + Work with customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell a wide range of products, which may include lighting, appliances, high end fixtures and cabinetry + Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory and delivery information + Lead and support a team of associates while being able to initiate and embrace change + Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while using suggestive sales techniques and handling complaints timely and accurately + Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field + Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, address and resolve customer complaints **Qualifications** + Prior sales leadership experience is ideal coupled with sales and customer service experience + A strong sales presence + Problem solving, leadership and listening skills + Organizational and time management skills + The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge + Understand the basics of design and interior decorating + Strong mentor skills and desire to train others + Able to engage in a consultative sales approach to recommend solutions for the varying needs of the customer Ferguson is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families—geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
