Summary 

The Siding Operator is responsible for producing high quality residential siding products at the Wind Gap Plant through accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service and cost are the highest priorities.  The Siding Operator will perform various, rotating duties relating to all manufacturing operations.  He or she will support the managers and all plant staff to meet Wind Gap’s operational goals and perform duties as assigned.  Employees will contribute to a highly motivated and positive environment.  

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 6 am – 2 pm

Essential Duties

Work safely and assume responsibility for safety of self and others. Follow all safety rules and policiesRotate all four (4) work stations:

Forming Operation

Complete Quality Assurance Reports correctlyComplete Production Reports correctlyOperate Machinery to current Operating ParametersDump assigned amount of Raw Materials into each BatchReport all repairs with a Work Order to a SupervisorOperate scale systemAssure all QA machinery is functioning properly (i.e. Weight Recorder)

Siding Operation
