**Siemens Controls Engineer** **(Apply to learn more)** **** **Pay Rate:** $60/hr. - $68/hr. **Shifts:** 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime available. **Location:** Bay Area, Palo Alto **Are you ready to make a difference in world-renowned hospital facilities? We're looking for a talented Siemens Controls Engineer to bring innovative solutions and advanced control systems to life!** **What You'll Do:** + Design and implement cutting-edge control systems using Siemens PLC/HMI. + Develop custom automation solutions for manufacturing processes. + Optimize control algorithms for complex systems. + Review electrical schematics and assist with hardware architecture. + Create detailed design documentation and conduct software reviews. + Program software for diverse projects (PLC, HMI/SCADA, Servo, Robotics, Machine Vision, etc.). + Test and verify electrical wiring for safety and communication. + Collaborate with mechanical design engineers to ensure seamless setups. **What You Bring:** + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Controls, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field, or equivalent experience. + 3+ years of experience in designing and building industrial automation and control systems. + Expert-level proficiency with Siemens PLC/HMI programming. + Hands-on experience with PLC controls (Siemens) and HMI/SCADA (WinCC). + Knowledge of control hardware, sensors, remote IO, servos, VFDs, machine vision, barcode readers, etc. + Familiarity with industrial networking protocols like Profinet. + Experience with FANUC 6-axis robotics. + Willingness to travel (25-30%). **Bonus Skills:** + Experience with HVAC systems and Building Management Systems (BMS). + Preventive maintenance expertise. + Knowledge of CMMS, EPA, and electrical systems. **Work Environment:** + Onsite at a prestigious School of Medicine. + Covering 40 buildings across two campuses, primarily laboratories and medical gas facilities. + Collaborate with healthcare engineers for maintenance requests. + Shifts: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime available. + Uniforms provided. **Ready to take your career to the next level?
