Amergis Educational Staffing is actively hiring a Sign Language Interpreter in Winston-Salem, NC to join our team and make a positive impact in student lives. Details of the position listed below:

 

Position:  Sign Language Interpreter

 

Location:  Mooresville, NC

 

School Type: Public School

 

Pay Rate (Local): $40 – $43 Per Hour

 

Details:

ASAP Start Contract Length: 2024-25 School Year Working 1:1 with a 4th/5th grade boy

 

Requirements:

Associate’s degree in interpreting or a related field and must meet 20 hours of professional learning related to interpreting/transliterating annually Educational Interpreter I  Score of 3.3 or higher on the Educational Interpreting Proficiency Assessment (EIPA)or a TEC Unit score of a level 2 for cued language transliterator Educational Interpreter II Score of 3.5 or higher on the Educational Interpreting Proficiency Assessment (EIPA) or a TEC Unit score of a level 3 for cued language transliterator  Educational Interpreter III  Score 4.0 on the Educational Interpreting Proficiency Assessment (EIPA) or a TEC Unit score of a level 3 or, may hold a national certification Experience working in an educational setting
