The Opportunity | Te Kōwhiringa 

Joining our Transport and Infrastructure business, you will be supporting the exciting ‘Connect Hamilton’ contract as a Signs Labourer based in Hamilton. You will help to deliver a safe, reliable and sustainable roading network. Working alongside our dedicated team you will take pride in helping to enhance the safety and function of road signage and the general appeal of public spaces. Your day-to-day tasks will include installing, fixing and cleaning signs plus supporting with general road maintenance activities and machine operation through the region. 

Important Skills | Nga Pūkenga Matu 

To be successful within this role we are looking for someone with basic knowledge of civil construction (such as concrete pours, replacing guardrails, signs and fixing potholes). Experience installing and maintaining signs on a roading network is preferable and you will also ideally bring with you: 
 

Full Class 1 License (Class 2 preferable)   Experience operating mobile plant machinery and equipment, particularly within the road maintenance and asphalt industry (advantageous)  A Health and Safety focus Excellent verbal communication skills
