Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries (GF) is seeking a self-driven professional to support the development of leading-edge test solutions for the growing Data Center, High-performance Computing markets using next-generation GF proprietary technologies. The successful candidate will be a member of an established world-class test engineering team, driven by collaborative innovation, analytical thinking and creative problem solving.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide technician support to wafer & module level Silicon Photonics (SiPh) test solutions built for high-speed, photonic integrated circuits (PIC) using both GF Proprietary and ATE commercial solutions.
Interface with GF internal teams to maintain and develop business processes needed to deliver silicon to and from the GF state-of-the-art SiPh Lab.
Drive & support cross-functional collaboration across internal teams – Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Test equipment, Safety & Facility - to ensure efficient & effective operations of the SiPh Test floor.
Full-time position at GF state-of-the-art SiPh Lab with some level of remote work flexibility.
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:
Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong hands-on engineering with excellent debugging skills.
Familiarity working with Lab tools like oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
3+ years' experience in calibration and de-embedding techniques for S-Parameter measurements.
3+ years as Manufacturing engineer to bring development solutions into high-volume manufacturing (HVM) - either internal or through 3rd party OSAT partnership - and to drive continued yield improvements.
3+ years' experience in MS Office and diagnostic software.
Results-oriented Leader with proficiency in interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and effectively working across teams.
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Demonstrated analytical & positive thinking, desire to innovate, self-accountability.
Preferred Qualifications:
BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
5+ years' experience in calibration and de-embedding techniques.
5+ years' experience in working with Lab tools like oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
5+ years as Manufacturing engineer to bring development solutions into high-volume manufacturing (HVM) - either internal or through 3rd party OSAT partnership - and to drive continued yield improvements.
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, complex projects, etc.
Project management skills, the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong planning & organizational skills.
Fluency in shell scripting, multi-paradigm (Matlab/R) and high-level programming languages (Python/Perl) for automation and statistical data analysis.
Mastery of verbal and written communication to successfully interact with highly technical teams, to provide documentation of the highest quality.
Expected Salary Range
$54,200.00 - $110,300.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
