Job Title: Silk Screen Machine Operator

Job Description

You will work closely with the production crew to screen print designs onto completed capsules. Operating a machine to silk screen prints based on customers' bottle sizes and needs, you will help palletize finished products and prepare orders for shipment. Organization is key to ensure work orders are correctly stored and ready to be shipped. The role involves heavy lifting, up to 20 lbs throughout the shift.

ResponsibilitiesOperate a silk screen machine to print designs on capsules.Set up and create silk screen frames.Prepare inks and alcohol for machines.Conduct changeovers and troubleshoot issues.Palletize finished products and prepare orders for shipment.Organize and store work orders correctly.Perform basic quality checks and ensure accuracy of capsules.Move pallets using pallet jacks and, if certified, operate a sit-down forklift.Work in a darkroom to create screens.Review and follow the job booklet for daily or weekly tasks.Test capsules every hour to ensure they meet customer specifications.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Day Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM. The work environment is a small warehouse/production facility, which can be loud due to capsule machines and the sound of metal capsules clanking. With only 4 people per shift, everyone works closely together. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, full-length pants or jeans (no shorts), and no jewelry, fake nails, or lashes. All GMPs must be followed, and the company provides hair nets and beard covers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FAIRFIELD, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00
