Title:
SimOps/STK Engineer - TS/SCIKBR is seeking an engineer with expertise in SimOps and the use of Sytem Tool Kit to support one of our IC customers in Chantilly, VA. This position requires an understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission and services closure. This position requires technical interaction with a diverse team of Systems Engineering/Technical Assistance (SETA) and Contracted Administrative Assistance Services (CAAS) team members as well as providing technical and programmatic oversight of the various Development Contractors across the Enterprise.
Responsibilities include:
Interacting with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and supporting technical consultation, meeting coordination, and supporting recommendation briefingsWorking with team- leads, program managers, and acquisition professionals to validate that an acquisition strategy will support a technically feasible outcomeIntegrating new systems and initiatives in support of customer/mission partner requirements and work directly with our developers and users in operationsUnderstanding system-to-system interfaces and act as an IntegratorMonitoring system and segment schedules while recognizing dependencies.Identifying risks and opportunities Organizing and managing meetings and information sessionsIdentifying and automating workflowsPreparation of presentations and reportsApplying Agile principles to management of a government/contractor software development team working disparate projects – informing lines of authority, maintaining status, and distributing workloadCoordinating partnerships with mission partners and domain expertise to identify capability gaps to identify project opportunitiesRequired Qualifications:
A technical degree: 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD Certification and experience with Systems Tool Kit (STK)Intelligence Community (IC)knowledge and work historyPrior Agile software development experience delivering new capabilities using Agile methodologiesExperience identifying user and enterprise needs/requirements and gap identification, analysis, and assessmentCandidate will be required to sign and adhere to the following: Non-Disclosure Agreement(s), Confidential Agreement and Conflict of Interest CertificationDesired Qualifications:
Familiarity with Integrated Intelligence program officeSecurity Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI with poly required
