Summary: Seeking a Simulation Engineer with expertise in vehicle model development, application engineering, and vehicle dynamics.

Job Requirements:

1-2 years experience creating and maintaining vehicle models in Dymola or similar environments

Proficiency in Simulink, Control Systems, and C++

BS Degree in a relevant field

Hands-on experience in physical testing to characterize vehicle systems

Preferred Skills:

Experience performing correlation studies with real-world data

Broad knowledge of modelling and characterization of all vehicle systems (aerodynamics, brakes, suspensions, tires, powertrains)

Excellent understanding of dynamics of mechanical systems including frequency domain analysis

Internships in racing/automotive/motorsports

Job Responsibilities:

Develop simulation models for vehicles

Populate and calibrate vehicle model parameters

Conduct correlation studies to compare model behaviors with test data

Perform physical testing on various vehicle systems such as K&C, shaker rigs, damper dynos etc.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
