Key responsibilities
Develop MASTA transmission system driveline models to support current production program and NBOs.Perform system level design analysis for estimating bearing damage, Gear safety factors, overall system stiffness and provide design change recommendations.Perform system dynamic analysis for estimating vibration levels and provide design feedback to mitigate any potential NVH issues.Perform subsystem / system level structural/dynamic FEA.Perform Transmission Error analysisStructural optimization using various methodologies.Writing reports for summarizing the analysis results and reviewing all project-related analysis results for ensuring the accuracy of project reports.What we are looking for
MS in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institutions.Minimum of 7 years of experience working with automotive driveline componentsExpertise in designing driveline components like bearings, gears and shaftsDesign knowledge of park system for automotive applicationGood technical knowledge of vibration damping methods and NVHExpertise in analysis tools like MASTA / ROMAX and ANSYS requiredExpertise in mechanical finite element analysis (FEA)Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) requiredGood communication skills, writing and oralPreferred Requirements
PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field10 years of related engineering work experienceWorking experience in multi-physics simulationExperience in EV Driveline and/or ICE Driveline systemsWhat we believe
