Simulation (FEA) Engineer
The Simulation CoE Engineer is responsible for performing detailed analyses and simulations to support product design, development and testing. The role requires collaboration across engineering, marketing and development teams to ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction. This position involves independent problem-solving, application of standard principles and resolution of moderately complex challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities

Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.

Analyse customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine design feasibility and application potential.

Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of structural, thermal, dynamic, and thermal-electric systems.

Develop and validate FEA models, including physical experiments where necessary.

Interpret and explain simulation results to stakeholders, ensuring technical accuracy and relevance.

Collaborate with engineers, developers, and marketing teams to create product designs and support future sales plans.

Apply knowledge of material models and multiphysics phenomena (e.g., electric-magnetic-mechanical, thermal-electrical problems) to improve simulation outcomes.


Experience / Qualifications

A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).

Proven experience in FEM calculations and FEA software (e.g., ANSYS).

Strong mechanical and physics background; knowledge of multiphysics phenomena is an advantage.

Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.

Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation (English proficiency at a minimum B2 level).

Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
