Simulator Technician

About This Role

                                                                                                         

The Simulator Technician is responsible to the Maintenance Manager to perform all preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices under support in a safe and effective manner, ensuring maximum successful training events are able to be achieved by the end user for the Hawk 127 platform.

This role be based out of RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.

The role we are offering you

Carry out all maintenance tasks as required and directed by the Maintenance ManagerEnsure all maintenance tasks meet internal and external compliance requirementsAs a Technician, you will get to work on world-leading flight simulator technologyWork to CAE’s Environment, Health and Safety standards

Our ideal candidate has:

Technician and/or mechanical trade skill is desired, such as electronic tech, electrician, IT professional etcSound IT knowledge and ability to learn systems quicklyStrong problem solving skillsAvionics technician certification, experience or knowledge will be a big plus!

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
