The role: An exciting opportunity for a Simulator Technician has arisen within the Electronic Attack Air Combat Training Support (EATS) Program. + The Simulator Technician maintains the super Hornet and Growler aircrew and maintainer simulators at RAAF Base Amberley QLD. + High levels of dedication and attention to detail are critical for this position. The person: + Certificate IV Avionics or Certificate IV in Electrical / Electronic / Information Technology. + Knowledge of flight simulation systems. + Knowledge of complex aircraft systems including Radar, Navigation, Instrumentation, Electronic Warfare, Air to Ground and Air to Air Weapons. + Knowledge of IT Network fundamentals and diagnostics and computing equipment maintenance. + Ability to hold a defence NV2 clearance.
