Onsite at: 6055 Rockside Woods Blvd N, Independence, OH 44131

Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite & 2 days remote

Reports to: LEAD Center Manager

Travel: minimal, less than 5%

Pay: $90,000-120,000/year + annual bonus

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Job Description Summary: The SIO Optimization Engineer ensures that our operational decisions follow the optimal strategy, develops our optimization solutions, and represents the Airgas Performance Center in international communities regarding optimization.

Developing ASU plant models using LIM OPTIM and the AIMMEs tools

Maintaining and updating models as needed.

Implementing continuous improvement of optimization tools through enhanced solutions, visualization, and new applications.

Leading the deployment of the LIM.OPTIM workstream as part of the global approach to end to end supply chain optimization.

Improving the organization’s understanding of optimization tools, results and processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

2 years experience in Optimization

Understanding of the dynamics of ASU liquid and pipeline operations, their flexibility and constraints desired.

Programming skills (no specific programming language required).

Application skills including a proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and Google Docs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the optimization software AIMMS

Experience in managing information between different databases.
