The Position:  

The Site Account Manager, Scheduling and Cell Logistics will be responsible for supporting the Site Account Specialist who are scheduling and monitoring patient treatment schedules for the manufacturing of BMS’s commercial autologous cellular immunotherapy products. They will serve as BMS cell therapy treatment center’s back up point of contact for patient scheduling when their primary contact is out of office.   

The primary duty of the Site Account Manager, Scheduling and Cell Logistics is to support and execute day-to-day operations and provide back up support to the Site Account Specialists (~ 65% of time) and participating in projects and working groups (~35%) focused on continuous process improvements. 

Position is office-based in either Seattle, WA or Summit, NJ with an in-office attendance requirement of a minimum of 50% of the time. Remote work must be performed at home with consistent office setup and internet access, as extensive work at computers and phones is essential to job function.  

Holiday support is required as assigned.   

Domestic and international travel is possible and will not exceed 20%.  

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 

5 years of work experience in scheduling, planning, operations, customer service, logistics, supply chain 

Experience working in a regulated environment (cGMP/FDA) is preferred  

Must have strong proficiency Office 365 software, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word  

Responsibilities: 

Act as back-up scheduling point of contact for all US treatment sites, including creating and maintaining patient schedules in coordination with apheresis centers, manufacturing sites, treatment sites, and third-party logistics 

Own, manage, and drive continuous improvement of processes as assigned  

Act as first escalation point for Site Account Specialists, treatment sites, and commercial partners  

Mentor and support specialists in solving complex problems with their accounts, prior to issues being escalated to management 

Communicate issues and resolutions to SCLT management and key internal and external stakeholders  

Develop and oversee plans of action for issues throughout the patient journey 

Interact with internal and external stakeholders in-person and through electronic/virtual means 

Ensure a positive end-to-end customer experience 

Lead exception processes such as product returns, product replacements, and out of spec product 

Input and maintain transactional data related to patient schedules within BMS’s scheduling system 

Ensure resources are in place to support treatment site training on patient scheduling processes and facilitate training as assigned 

Analyze feedback from customers and partners and provide action plans as assigned 

Actively participate in, facilitate, and lead tactical and other meetings as assigned 

Provide on-the-job training on areas of subject matter expertise 

Own change actions, deviations, investigations, CAPAs, and effectiveness checks as assigned 

Own, author, update, and implement procedures and work instructions as assigned 

Establish and maintain a trusted relationship with BMS commercial matrix team, regional internal partners, and treatment sites 

Act as subject matter expert on global projects and cross-functional initiatives and execute project tasks as assigned 

Lead and manage regional projects 

Lead at least one working group and execute relevant tasks  

Comply with applicable SOPs, work practices, and other documentation 

Accountable for individual performance 

Understand and champion global strategy and role of Scheduling and Cell Logistics 

Provide input into goals and plans to deliver on SCLT’s global strategy

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $97,000 - $121,000,

plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed.
